This course will review considerations of cases with elevated IOP, optic disc changes and visual field abnormalities that can be confused with open angle glaucoma. The ability to differentiate some of these conditions may change the long term prognosis of the patient or warrant a different direction in management.

Upon course completion, you will be able to:

1. The attendee will be able to gain an understanding of differential diagnoses of glaucoma based on intraocular pressure,  optic disc appearance and perimetric findings.

2. The attendee will be able to scrutinize the optic disc for signs to aid in the differential diagnosis of non-glaucomatous optic neuropathies.

3. The attendee will obtain knowledge about visual field patterns that conditions share with glaucoma.
